Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Truthfully... Not very often, but this past week, I have been completely overwhelmed by the greatness of his love and his faithfulness.
There was a time when I didn't think I would ever be able find a community of friends like I had back home, but God knows better than I do. (Thankfully!) I cannot begin to express how wonderful the people in my life are. I live with four of the most incredible girls I know. Five different girls. From five different places and backgrounds. One unified house. Only God could have orchestrated a home like this. A home where we love each other through the good and the bad, the laughter and the tears. A home where we serve and learn to be served. And a place where to love to entertain!
I look back at all the tears and homesickness my first 6 months here. Why couldn't Ashlea and I have found back then? But had we built a community when we first got here... We wouldn't have this now. He knows what he is doing and is always faithful in His timing.
Not only have I been blessed with this "family", but we have all been blessed with relationships outside of our home. Church. Work. Babysitting. Bonfires. Lunches. Brunches. Game nights. Rave parties (Christian raves of course). People whose lives reflect Christ. People I can learn with and learn from. People who have blessed our house far beyond what we can say.
And that's just the beginning.
Praise God, from whom ALL blessings flow.
